About

Amy Miller started her riding career as a horse-crazy girl riding bareback through southern California creeks and fields on a tolerant gray Arabian. She has come a long way since then.  She and Encore have competed in CDI’s in Thermal, Del Mar and Temecula with wins and multiple high placings.

The team’s adventures have included field trips to the Festival of Champions in Chicago, Illinois with top finishes from Reserve Champion of the Markel USEF Young Horse Four year old class to eigth place in the international Grand Prix.  Along the way, Amy has also earned her USDF bronze, silver and gold medals.

Amy also has her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy: equestrians and horses with a history of orthopedic injuries benefit from Amy’s ability to take a bio-mechanical approach to comfort and improvement as they ride. This bio-mechanical approach often combines new exercises for the ride both on their horse, and out of the saddle in their own home.

Amy teaches from Wil Mar Equestrian Center in Chino Hills, California. She offers full training at the barn for horses and riders, and also has traveling students who trailer in for lessons as schedules permit.
